SAFETY &
LICENSING.

A recognized licence is required

Each operator must present an original, valid nautical or personal-watercraft qualification. Recognition depends on the issuing country, category, Spanish and Canary Islands rules, insurance and operating conditions.

Upload the requested verification documents for every participant. We review them before confirmation.

No licence yet?

Freedom Jet Ski offers an intensive one-day course for €150, with the licence issued in as little as 24 hours. It is designed for recognition across Europe, but acceptance depends on the issuing authority and local rules.

One qualified operator per jet ski

For two jet skis, the operating requirements apply to each driver. Passengers remain subject to capacity, safety equipment and operating conditions.

Safety briefing

Before departure, customers receive a practical briefing covering controls, emergency lanyard, life vest, safe distances, local hazards, communications, permitted area and return procedure.

Weather and navigation limits

The operator may delay, alter, postpone or cancel a departure because of wind, swell, visibility or another safety factor. The permitted area depends on licence, insurance, fuel range, daylight and temporary restrictions.

Fuel, return and equipment

The jet ski is supplied full and must be returned full. Wear the supplied safety equipment, attach the emergency lanyard, follow speed and distance rules and return on time.

Damage excess

Standard protection has a €1,000 excess per jet ski. The optional €30 zero-excess waiver reduces that stated excess to €0, subject to the final agreement and exclusions.

Medical and personal responsibility

Tell us about any circumstance affecting safe participation. Never operate under the influence of alcohol, drugs or impairing medication.
