PRIVACY,
PLAINLY.
The website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Information is collected only when you choose to send a booking request or contact us.
Who handles your information
Freedom Jet Ski Tenerife handles the information submitted through this website for the purpose of reviewing and responding to rental enquiries. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@freedomjetski.com.
What we collect
The booking form collects your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, stated licence type, preferred rental date, duration, number of jet skis, number of participants, selected excess option, optional message, and a navigation licence plus the front and back of the identity document for each participant. It also records technical anti-abuse information such as a one-way hash of the submitting IP address and basic browser identification.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer your request, assess preliminary licence eligibility, discuss availability, prepare a possible rental, prevent abuse and keep an operational record of enquiries. A booking request does not create an automated decision or confirmed rental.
Legal basis
The processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible rental contract and for the legitimate interests of operating a secure enquiry service. Where consent is specifically requested, you may withdraw it for future processing.
Storage and recipients
Request details are stored on the website server and a booking notification may be delivered to the operator’s mailbox. Uploaded identity and licence files are stored outside the public website directory and can be downloaded only through the password-protected administration area. Information may be accessible to hosting or technical service providers only where necessary to provide and secure the service. It is not sold for advertising.
Retention
Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, manage a resulting rental, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Unsuccessful enquiries should be deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
The website uses HTTPS, non-public document storage, a password-protected administration area, input and file-type validation, rate limiting and standard browser security headers. Upload only the documents requested in the dedicated fields and never include card details or extra identity data in the optional message. The Stripe step is currently a demonstration: no card data is collected and no payment is taken by this website.
